Who is Ahmad Alshugairi ?

Ahmad Alshugairi was born on 6 June 1973 in Jeddah city, Saudi Arabia. Ahmed Alshugairi is a media activist and media figure in the Arab world. He became well-known because of his program Khawatir, and according to his audience it was the best program he had performed, and it spanned from 2005 to 2015. Ahmed Al Shugairi has notable social media exposure, he has around 18 million followers on Twitter and around 15 million on Instagram. Also he was ranked in the world’s top 100 as well as he was the best personality in Saudi Arabia in 2015 on Twitter.

He started his media career in 2002, In the TV programme { Yalla ya shabab } and it is mean { Come on youth }. After that he became famous after a series of “Khawatier” programs, which achieved great success as a result of their simple approach and treatment of youth issues, which were always watched by his saying: “I am not a scholar, nor a mufti, nor a jurist, a student of knowledge.”

Ahmed Alshugairi used a simple language in the program “Khawatier” that addresses the issues of society, and his words reach the hearts with ease. "Khawatier" sets a different example for us to feel the great blessings that surround us on the one hand, blessings that we may not feel important because we are accustomed to them. We learned from “Khawatier” giving, and volunteering to serve our country, as the program presented volunteering models that can work as a kind of giving back to us or to serve individuals, such as: repairing cars on highways, or products provided to provide services, or volunteering for the elderly.

Khawatier was a large success for Ahmed Alshugairi in the Arab world. And After Watching Khawatier program for many years Ahmad Alshugairi became my role model.

And recently he presented a television program called { Seen } Which was shown in Apri 2021 on the MBC channel, as well as on the Shahid.net platform. Also he explained that the program’s name came from “Seen Question,” because “Seen” because every improvement begins with a question or inquiry. And the program goal objective was highlighting some aspects of development and modernization witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various sectors. 

Ahmad Alshugairi dealt with many issues such as housing and mining, hobbies, hidden blessings, visual distortion, tourism, mobile vehicles, covid19, volunteering and addiction, endowments, beyond forty, and the Ihsan platform, among other issues. Seen program not only plays the role of educating and educating the individual about the positive developments that he can contribute to and benefit him, but it also provides a clear picture to the international trade community about the wheel of modernity that has been launched in the Kingdom, and where the levels of development have reached.

Ahmad Alshugiri's achievements

Ahmad Alshugairi achieved his goal and was able to broadcast his TV program "Khawatier" within the list of Ramadan programs to ensure its greater spread among Arab societies. The program succeeded remarkably, then the program discussed a variety of topics that aimed to build an exemplary world of patriotism and fraternity among Muslims. The program was looking for the appropriate way to confront the corruption that the Arab world suffers from so much.

The aim behind all this was to revive the great civilization of Muslims, and to restore their lost glory. Ahmad Alshugairi’s ideas attracted the minds and interest of the Arab public, and succeeded remarkably at the regional and international levels, until the production of “Khawatier 10” in 2014. A number of episodes of the 10th part were filmed in a number of Arab and Western countries, where he gave concrete examples of the values ​​and principles he seeks to spread . As a result of this great work, he was nominated to be the most influential figure in the Arab world.

In 2015, Ahmad Alshugairi won the "Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award" ceremony. for being one of the most prominent influencers and motivators of Arab youth, as he was only followed at that time on Twitter by more than 12 million people. Also he won the best youth media personality in the third youth media forum in Jordan, and he was placed 143 in a list of 500 of the most influential Arab figures in the Arab world according to a survey published by Arabian Business magazine.

Ahmad Alshugairi has a large audience and he is admired by millions and influences many Muslims, especially the targeted group of society, which is the youth group. So I tweeted to ask his audience about his influence on them, and I received a lot of positive responses.

Ahmad Alshugairi is a good role model and I hope I can be like him someday. He did a lot of things for the Arab world. He was a supporter of community development and improvement and awareness of youth and adolescents. Also he has contributed to several cultural projects in which he seeks to return the Islamic nation to reading.

Ahmed Alshugairi founded the Aram Al-Ihsan Company that promotes cooperation in society. And It is a non-profit company that seeks to present programs, a viewing concerned with serving the community in cultural aspects, and taking over the existing cultural activities and residing with the journalist Ahmed Alshugairi.
